UPCOMING DATES:  As we are into our new year and many of you may have new personal calendars at home, I want to remind you of special dates we have coming up during the second half of the school year.

 Monday dates when all the children are Early Birds due to district-wide staff development.

March 3, March 31, May 5, May 29 & June 19.

 

Dates and times for field trips, with details to be sent home closer to the dates: 

Friday, April 4:  Trip to Kidspace Museum, students on extended day (8:20 – 1:45


                Friday, April 25:  Trip to the Los Angeles Zoo, students on Later Gator extended day (9:20 -2:00)

          
                   Friday, May 30: Trip to Long Beach Aquarium, students on extended day (8:20 – 1:45)

          
                    Tuesday, June 17:  Beach Day/LA County W.A.T.E.R. program, students in Room 209 all Later Gators (9:20 – 1:45)

 

                   Thursday, June 19: Last day of school, students all Early Birds, (8:20 – 12:45)

 

A reminder:  If you would like to assist us on any of our field trips, you must have your TB test results turned in to me.  Often parents are disappointed when they volunteer to come with us on a trip and they are not allowed to come because they don’t have a current (within 4 years) TB test.  Plan ahead!
